Rapper Eve announced that she is leaving popular CBS talk show "The Talk," where she has served as a co-host for the last four seasons. The 41-year-old explained that she would step down as a host on the show at the end of December.

Stating the reason for her exit, Eve noted that she is currently in London with her husband Maximillion Cooper and does not foresee herself traveling back to the United States anytime soon.

Speaking further, Eve gushed over how much she loved her fellow co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, and Carrie Ann Inaba, and added that her departure has nothing to do with them.

Eve also said leaving "The Talk" was difficult and noted how much she has grown as a person just by hosting the show. She said:

She said that she shared a great bond with all of her co-hosts and noted that they are lucky to have the kind of relationship they do.

The rapper also opened up about how she has enjoyed spending time with her family during the lockdown and how that inspired her decision to leave the show.

Eve's departure from the show is not the first bittersweet exit fans are seeing on "The Talk."

In response to her announcement, Osbourne, Sheryl, and Inaba all pledged support for Eve's decision and noted that even though it is hard to see her leave, they want the best for her.

Osbourne also said that she was proud of the rapper and how much she has grown since joining the show in November 2017.

Eve's departure from the show is not the first bittersweet exit fans are seeing on "The Talk." In September, Marie Osmond announced she was leaving after serving as a co-host for only one season.

Taking to Twitter, the singer described working on the show as the highlight of her year. Osmond added that she and her husband recently dropped their youngest kids off at college and looked forward to spending more time together.

Though fans might not get to see Eve and Osmond on the show again, there is no doubt that the two women will look for different ways to keep their fans entertained while also enjoying quality family time.
