Tamela Mann Praised for Flaunting Her Curves & Slimmer Waistline in This Black Dress (Video)

Tamela Mann looked stunning in a black, long-sleeved active dress from her new collection. Fans are praising the star’s curves and a slimmer waistline.

The Grammy award-winning singer posted a video showcasing part of her new Tamela Mann Collection going on sale this Black Friday. “Check it out, y’all..” the star exclaimed as she showed off the ruched detail on the long sleeves and the soft, stretchy fabric of the black dress.

Tamela, 54, created the athleisure apparel line for women sized 12-32 who often feel marginalized in the fashion industry.

Fans praised the Weight Watchers ambassador for representing curvier women and creating fashion that favors their body types. Her comments section was filled with compliments and inquiries on when and how to get the new dress. One fan quipped:

“Can that dress give me that waistline?? [ I’ll ] take 2.”

"It’s the waistline for me, ??????," remarked another user, while another follower commented, “That waist is epic.”

Tamela attributes much of her weight loss to the popular Weight Watchers program she embarked on in Spring 2019 after her double knee replacement surgery.

The star often shares her lifestyle changes on her Instagram page, encouraging fans to follow healthy eating habits, which include plenty of fruit and vegetables and meal planning.

Tamela, who embarked on this weight loss journey with her daughter, Tiffany, told Weight Watchers she enjoys having a family member who has a similar mindset and goals to focus on.

In an episode of Essence’s Yes Girl! Podcast, Tamela also credits her husband, actor David Mann for supporting and helping her research various foods. David, 54, has supported his wife by extending words of encouragement along the challenging journey.

The Manns have been married for 32 years and share two children, David Jr., 31, and Tia, 29. The comedic couple has stayed married despite David having two daughters from previous relationships.

In an interview with The Christian Post, David Mann advises on navigating blended families by maintaining a unified front as they raise the children and deal with the baby mama drama that comes with it.

Tamela and David talk candidly about the other battles they have faced in their marriage over the last 30 years in their book “Us Against the World,” which was released in November 2018. The couple remains an inspiration to younger Christian couples.
