Tamela Mann has been on a weight loss journey and you can already see its effects in the latest photo shared on her Instagram. Check it out now.
Last year, Tamela Mann decided to embark on a healthier lifestyle, vowing to get fitter and lose some weight. Well, it seems to be working from the latest photo shared on the star's Instagram page.
Mann posted a photo of herself flaunting her new hourglass figure while wearing a gorgeous peplum top and matching trousers.
In April of last year, the gospel artist announced that she had signed up as the new celebrity ambassador for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.
Mann said that she was excited about the partnership as she had attempted to lose weight before and admitted that she could not do it by herself. She added:
"It has to start individually with ourselves. I’m not just doing this for my family, I’m doing this for myself.”
The star suffered a minor setback when she had to undergo knee replacement surgery.
By September, Mann, who was joined on the weight loss journey by her daughter, revealed that she had already lost 40 pounds.
Her daughter Tifanny shared that she was inspired by her mother to get healthier and called her an inspiration.
In July, the star suffered a minor setback when she had to undergo knee replacement surgery only a few months after starting her health kick.
However, the surgery was a success, and while she was not able to hit the gym right away, a month later, she started walking with a cane. Mann said:
"During my recovery, physical activity was difficult for me, but I made it a priority to focus on my mental health and nutrition."
Other celebrities who have also ben WW ambassadors include Oprah Winfrey and Kate Hudson who both used the program to slim down.
In addition to being a singer, Tamela and her husband also appeared on Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns," and the star recently opened up about saying goodbye to the iconic Madea character.

David, who played Mr. Brown, Madea's ex, revealed that he had been shocked and called it a bittersweet moment.
