Tamela Mann of 'The Manns' Cuts Husband David's Hair and Beard in a New Video

The award-winning gospel singer definitely wants to take care not only of herself, as a WW ambassador, but as a barber for her husband as well. The couple is making the most out of quarantining by spending time together in different ways.

Besides doing some on-line work and lying on the couch, coronavirus pandemic is keeping us away from our stylists and salons to get our grooming and hairdos as we would like them. To solve this problem Tamela Mann decided to shave her husband’s beard and post it on a video.

The gospel singer did not hesitate to take care of David and his appearance, and both filmed a 9-minute video, that later posted on the Instagram account they have together, to show their fans that she can also be a very good barber. David captioned the video:

“Happy wife happy life. I let her cut it all off!!!”

WEIGHT LOSS STORY

Last year, Tamela started a personal journey to lose weight. Even though she and David do many of their projects together, she preferred to maintain this experience as a quest she was doing all by herself.

She started the Weight Watchers’ weight loss program and in a few months, she had already lost 40 pounds, which made her feel different and happier, not only with her own body but with all the transformation she was starting to feel in her life.

Tamela later announced on Instagram that she was joining the WW community as an ambassador, joining celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Kate Hudson, who have also slimmed down using WW.

It is admirable the journey that Tamela embarked to be on the track of a healthier lifestyle. She even had a knee replacement surgery, but that did not stop the gospel singer from reaching her weight loss goals.

MONEY ADVICE

The Mann's are used to be holding events and doing projects together as a team, always on the idea of helping people. The couple attended the Essence Festival in New Orleans last year, joining State Farm agents to talk with festival-goers about finances.

In their speech, they shared their decisions towards retirement planning and what steps they have taken to secure their family’s assets. They also talked about the importance of teaching children how to properly manage money in their daily lives.

The Manns have been married for 31 years. Together they share two children, David Jr. and Tia, but they also raised his two daughters from a previous relationship, Porcia and Tiffany, as well as Tamela’s niece, Sonya.
