Jaden Smith Slammed for Wearing an Oxygen Mask to a Halloween Party — Check Out the Reactions
Jaden Smith found himself facing the heat after he wore an oxygen mask costume to Kendall Jenner's recent birthday bash, causing fans to bash him on social media.
On Saturday, Jaden Smith attended Kendall Jenner's 25th birthday party. He wore an oxygen mask as part of his costume to the birthday bash amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pictures of Jaden's costume found their way to social media, and some fans were unimpressed with his choice of attire, taking turns to blast him on Twitter.

A Twitter user shared a picture of Jaden seated at a table and holding a glass of wine. The oxygen mask costume was clearly visible. He also wore a black top and hand chain.
Jaden sat between two other male friends in the snapshot. On the table were empty bottles, scissors, plates, table cloths, and candlelights. The user captioned the picture:
"There's just something so inhumane about Jaden Smith wearing an oxygen mask as a costume."
Many more fans reacted to the Twitter user's picture post and tweet, expressing their disbelief at Jaden's costume choice. One fan said they did not want to believe it was Jaden when they saw the picture.
It was revealed that every guest and employee that attended the party had to have a negative rapid COVID-19 test.
A third person agreed with the Twitter user's comment, saying Jaden was disrespectful with his costume choice. Another fan said if they had a family member or loved one who died of COVID-19, the picture would have been triggering.
The fan also imagined how people in that situation would feel. Another fan noted that it was disgusting that celebrities or privileged people were going to parties and flaunting it to everyone else, adding that such an attitude was tone-deaf.
One other fan revealed they were in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask due to asthma complications, and did not care so much about Jaden's costume choice. The fan added:
"I'm more insulted that we have come to a place where our level of sensitivity overrides our tolerance."
Jaden, who revealed in July that he was struggling with anxiety amid the COVID-19 pandemic, reacted to the criticisms he received from fans in an Instagram post.
In the post, he shared a picture of John David Washington's character from the newly released film, "Tenet," alluding that he was portraying the character and not making fun of the present COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Jenner also found herself at the receiving end of fans' criticism for throwing a birthday party without facemasks or social distancing.
However, it was revealed that every guest and employee that attended the party had to have a negative rapid COVID-19 test before gaining entrance. Fans still criticized the event despite that revelation.
Reacting to the criticisms leveled against her daughter, Jenner's mom, Kris Jenner, defended her, saying protocols were in place to ensure a healthy celebration.
The criticisms leveled against Jenner are coming after the Kardashian-Jenner clan came under social media scrutiny following Kim Kardashian's revelation that she held a bash with her family and close friends at a private island to celebrate her 40th birthday.
