These days, Sally Field, who starred in the hit comedy-drama film "Mrs. Doubtfire," keeps busy as the proud grandma of her five grandchildren.
In February 2020, a friend of Sally Field disclosed to Closer Weekly that the actress loves having many grandchildren. Field enjoys fun moments with Isabel, Sophie, Ogden, Noah, and Colin.
Isabel, who was born in 1998, is the daughter of Field's eldest son Peter Craig. Peter shares Isabel with his first wife, Amy Scattergood. In 2001, Peter and Amy welcomed Sophie.
The couple ended their relationship four years later. However, Peter later welcomed Field's third grandchild, Ogden, during his union to Jennifer DeFrancisco.
Field's fourth grandchild is Noah, who was born in 2006. Noah is the son of the actress's middle child, Eli Craig, and his wife, Sasha Craig. In 2014, Eli and Sasha welcomed Colin into the world together.
Although Field spends much of her time with her grandchildren, that does not mean she gives less regard to her responsibilities as a mother. For the award-winning actress, her sons will always be a top priority.
In a candid interview, Field once shared that her children Peter, Eli, and Sam Greisman are what she is most proud of in life. They are the first thoughts that come to her mind when she wakes up each morning.
Field is endlessly setting higher standards for herself as an actress.
"They are kind, loving, productive people. Each with their own list of talents and accomplishments," said Field, who garnered critical acclaim for her spectacular performance in the miniseries "Sybil."
Peter is the son of the actress from her first marriage to Steve Craig, according to Closer Weekly. He focused on writing screenplays. He has writing credits on several movies such as "Bad Boys for Life and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay."
Field's second son, Eli, followed in his parents' footsteps, taking a shot at several successful films. Some of his most notable projects include "Little Evil," "Zombieland," and "Tucker and Dale vs Evil."
On the other hand, Samuel is the son of Field from her second husband, Alan Greisman. Samuel is a prominent movie director. In 2012, at the Human Rights Campaign Gala, he thanked her mother for loving him unconditionally.
Meanwhile, Field is endlessly setting higher standards for herself as an actress, according to Good Housekeeping. "I keep thinking I'm going to reach the place where it's going to be easier," she once explained in an interview.
Aside from "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Sybil," Field is also known for her roles on "Forrest Gump," "Gidget," "The Flying Nun," and "Smokey and the Bandit." She is the recipient of many awards, such as Academy Awards and Golden Globe Awards.
