Reese Witherspoon Introduces New Puppy Minnie Pearl 3 Weeks after Her Dog Pepper Died

Reese Witherspoon has a new cutie in the house, and her name is Minnie Pearl. The actress announced the news in an adorable post that came weeks after saying goodbye to a "devoted" family member.

The "Morning Show" actress Reese Witherspoon took to social media on Monday to introduce her followers to the cutest new French Bulldog puppy they welcomed to the family.

Just last month, Witherspoon shared that their beloved longtime furry friend, Pepper, died. Heartbroken, the 40-year-old paid tribute to Pepper while the family felt grateful that she was no longer in pain.

OLD MEMORIES, NEW MEMORIES

On October 20, Witherspoon posted a throwback picture of Pepper and shared the sad news of her death. Their "devoted" friend loved being a "Queen" and running through fields of flowers, and she couldn't resist chasing tennis balls.

Now it's time for a new four-legged friend to find her place in the family, and she is simply adorable. Alongside a heart-melting picture of the new family pet, Witherspoon gushed:

"Introducing Minnie Pearl. Welcome to the family little one ❤️."

WHY PEPPER DIED

Witherspoon's daughter, Ava Phillippe, had a special relationship with Pepper as they grew up together. In a separate post, the 21-year-old shed light on the reason behind Pepper's death and wrote:

"Just when we thought she was getting better, things took a turn for the worst, and she passed peacefully, surrounded by those who love her."

LOVE, DOCUMENTED

Known for her love of dogs, Witherspoon often included Pepper in her social media updates, so fans can look forward to much more cuteness from Minnie Pearl.

In August, Pepper helped bring the message across that days are better when dogs and donuts are included, and last month, he checked in again to "see how everyone's doing."

When Witherspoon's German Shepherd, Nash, died last year, the actress also introduced a new pup to the family two months later in June 2019. Now the American bulldog Lou is the second youngest member of the family.

A RECENT CELEBRATION

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon kept busy with a project that made her dance with joy in September. The actress launched her new Fall Clothing Collection, and she took to social media to celebrate.

In the celebratory video, Witherspoon wore a dress from her new collection, and the feel of it literally had her dancing. Moving to the Will Smith song "Getting Jiggy With It," the actress looked stunning in the mid-length marigold dress with floral print in lavender.
