Lindsay Arnold Shares Sweet Photo of Her Daughter 1 Week after Giving Birth

“Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Lindsay Arnold gave birth to her very first child earlier this month. Since then, the reality star has shared numerous images of her newborn daughter including one showing the child a week after her birth.

On November 2, 2020, Lindsay Arnold, 26, gave birth to her baby daughter with her husband, Sam Lightner Cusick. The “Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)” dancer revealed in an Instagram post, at the time, that the birth had been the most beautiful surprise for her.

She also shared with her fans that she and the baby were doing well. Two days after she welcomed the child, she took to the same social media platform and revealed her daughter’s names.

The child, who was born eight days ahead of her due date, was named Sage Jill Cusick. The Utah native captioned the photo of her baby girl noting how her water had broken at around 3:30 a.m. before she gave birth.

The season 25 DWTS winner shared how she started having contractions in her bed immediately afterward. Arnold also revealed how she and her husband grabbed everything they could before rushing to the hospital.

The couple then discovered that the baby was in breech and the “So You Think You Can Dance” alum was progressing quickly with the birth. Doctors had to prepare for a C-section delivery to welcome little Sage safely into the world.

She also shared her gratitude for the hospital doctors and nurses who helped deliver her bundle of joy. Since then, she’s uploaded several photos of the cute little baby girl on social media.

On Monday, November 9, 2020, Arnold shared an image of herself with little Sage. In the photo, she cradled the little girl in one arm while taking a mirror selfie with her other hand in her bedroom.

The footage lasted for almost six minutes showing Cusick, her high school sweetheart, driving [Arnold] to the hospital.

The mother-and-daughter pair looked so adorable in their matching outfits. The professional dancer wore a pink bra and long pink pants while Sage rocked a cute little pink onesie.

The little girl’s mother captioned her post revealing how she was celebrating the first full week with her newborn child. The new parent, who still had a little baby bump showing, lovingly wrote on the post:

“1 week with our precious Sage…”

Arnold also posted a video of herself and her husband on the day they drove to the hospital to welcome their daughter. Her clip was shared on her Arnold Sisters YouTube channel this past Sunday.

The footage lasted for almost six minutes showing Cusick, her high school sweetheart, driving his wife to the hospital. The dancer explained how she was having contractions every five minutes before the clip moved to the hospital.

Fans got to see the DWTS star being monitored and she shared with her fans that she was now four centimeters dilated. She also revealed that the nurses had informed her that she'd be giving birth that same day.

The exact birth wasn’t shown on the clip but fans got to see a glimpse of Arnold’s reaction to her cesarean section. Sage was recorded while being cleaned up and her mother tearfully asking to hold her.
