Rebel Wilson Reveals Impressive Amount of Weight She's Lost in Her 'Year of Health'

In a recent interview on "The Drew Barrymore Show," celebrated actress Rebel Wilson revealed that she lost an impressive 40 pounds after deciding to have a "year of health."

Earlier this year, Rebel Wilson made headlines after showing off her newly slimmed-down physique. While chatting with Drew Barrymore on her show, the actress revealed that she had dropped around 40 pounds this year.

Wilson, who is most popular for her roles as Toula on the SBS comedy series "Pizza," also confessed how turning 40 years old inspired her to rethink her health habits.

"YEAR OF HEALTH"

Speaking about her weight loss and wellness journey, Wilson told Barrymore that she has been theming her years for the last few years. So she had the "year of fun," the actress added.

Wilson went on to explain that she had the "year of love" in 2019, so she decided that 2020 would be the "year of health" because she turned 40 back in March. She added:

"I never really focused on my health which was probably obvious."

HER GOAL WEIGHT

Wilson said that she decided to change her diet and fitness routine, and her hard work paid off. According to the "Pitch Perfect" star, she lost around 40 pounds this year.

In her previous interviews, Wilson shared that her goal weight was 165 pounds. During her interview with Barrymore, she said losing 40 pounds was not enough for her. She wants more, the actress admitted.

Wilson has never looked more joyful amid her blooming relationship with her new boyfriend, Jacob Busch.

"SO MUCH HEALTHIER"

"I love my curves and stuff, I don't think I'll ever go too skinny, but I feel so much healthier," said Wilson, who graduated from the Australian Theatre for Young People in 2003.

The weight loss of Wilson is partially down to following the Mayr Method diet plan, according to reports. Her exercise includes a combination of HIIT workouts, mobility, and weights.

Wilson recently took to social media to share snapshots of herself posing on the beach. The photos show her wearing a T-shirt and leggings, accentuating her flawless legs.

Her gorgeous pictures received many likes in no time. Many of her avid fans also added their thoughts via comments, and most of them praised the star's natural beauty.

Wilson has never looked more joyful amid her blooming relationship with her new boyfriend, Jacob Busch. Busch, whose family established the brewing company Anheuser-Busch, reportedly spoils the actress.

Wilson and Busch, who first met in 2019, started casually dating before the spread of the COVID-19. The loved-up couple made their red carpet debut during Prince Albert's Monte-Carlo Gala for Planetary Health in Monaco.
