Pregnant Bindi Irwin Gives 20-Week Update of Her Unborn Daughter

Australian television personality Bindi Irwin has recently shared new details about her pregnancy on her Instagram page, to the delight of her more than four million followers.

Along with a charming photo of herself and her husband Chandler Powell, Bindi Irwin announced that they are getting closer to meeting their first child, a baby girl. The mother-to-be captioned the snap:

"Halfway there! 20 weeks pregnant and our baby girl is about the same size as a recently hatched emu chick."

"The love I have for my sweetheart husband and our beautiful daughter is boundless," added Irwin, the daughter of the late conservationist Steve Irwin and his wife, Terri Irwin.

In the heartwarming photo, Irwin's husband Powell is seen holding up a sign reading "20 weeks." The 22-year-old snuggled up to the professional wakeboarder from Florida.

Irwin and Powell are posing in front of two emus for the maternity shoot. Irwin wore a simple white T-shirt and a pair of denim overalls. Her husband, on the other hand, sported a crocodile-print top.

On October 11, Irwin, who hosted "Bindi the Jungle Girl" when she was nine, shared an image of herself holding her belly on Instagram. She smiled as she looked directly at the camera.

In the caption, the star said her baby girl is doing great. Every time they get an ultrasound, the unborn baby is very energetic, Irwin explained, as reported by TODAY.

In 2015, Irwin decided to join the hit show "Dancing With the Stars."

Irwin first announced her pregnancy with Powell in August. On September 12, Irwin uploaded on Instagram a photo of herself and her husband holding up a sonogram of their bundle of joy.

In the photo, Irwin and Powell are seen cuddling some adorable animal friends. On September 22, they revealed that they are expecting a girl, due in 2021.

Meanwhile, as she prepares to give birth to her little one, Irwin decided to ditch her trademark khakis for tight-fitting maternity jeans, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Irwin and Powell became engaged in July 2019. The pair first met as teenagers in November 2013 at Australia zoo. On March 25, they kept their wedding ceremony small because of the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

In 2015, Irwin decided to join the hit show "Dancing With the Stars." Since the first night of the competition, the star paid tributes to her late father, Steve, who passed away in September 2006.

Judges and viewers were moved as they were reminded of Steve. Prior to her emotional performance of Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" with Derek Hough, Irwin shared that the real reason she's doing this is to make her father proud.
