John Legend Shares Release Date for New Netflix Film 'Jingle Jangle' Featuring Music He Wrote
Singer John Legend recently urged his fans and followers on Twitter to see the new and exciting Netflix original Christmas musical which he wrote music for.
As Christmas draws closer, Netflix has a special gift for its viewers. The streaming platform has its viewers anticipating the release of "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey," a holiday musical. Singer John Legend, who wrote music for the movie, announced on Twitter:
"So excited for y'all to see Jingle Jangle - A Christmas Journey, this weekend on @netflix ! @strongblacklead."

In just hours, Legend had his fans buzzing and talking about the movie. Many of the comments expressed how excited they were to watch the holiday film and hear what Legend created for it.
In his Twitter post, Legend linked a recent Chicago Sun-Times review on the movie for his fans to read and learn more to get them even more excited as they waited in anticipation.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey" has the ability to make its viewers "burst into applause" several times while it fills their souls with joy.
The review praised the holiday musical's choreographed production numbers, describing them as "rousing, infectious, and exquisitely choreographed," worthy of being featured on Broadway.
This news came around Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen's emotional battle with the loss of their unborn son, Jack.
The review also shared that the David E. Talbert-written and directed movie was excellently executed with the choreography and the excellent cast choice.
Chicago Sun-Times wrote that "Jingle Jangle - A Christmas Journey" will be extraordinary and groundbreaking because of its incredible cast. The principally Black cast delivered, beyond all doubt, to create the colorful and creative movie that fans will love.
The cast includes multi-award-winning actress Phylicia Rashad, actress and singer Anika Noni Rose, actors Forest Whitaker and Ricky Martin, and young film actress Madalen Mills.
Legend, who gushed all about the movie on his Twitter, wrote one special number for the movie alongside the other catchy musical numbers composed by Phillip Lawrence, Davy Nathan, and Michael Diskint.
The first trailer for "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey" was released early in October, promising viewers a wonderful time in front of their screens. The much-anticipated movie is set in the fantastic and whimsical town of Cobbleton (Norwich in the United Kingdom).
It follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (Forest Whitaker) as he tries to rescue one of his most whimsical and incredible Christmas toy inventions with the help of his family from the hands of a thieving villain played by Keegan-Michael Key.
"Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey" will undoubtedly be one of those feel-good Christmas movies that everyone wants to watch again and again.
