Dolly Parton, 74, Refuses to Age and Will Look as Young as Her Plastic Surgeons Allow
Music legend Dolly Parton's recent declaration had her talking about her quest to maintain her age-defying looks for a long time to come.
Dolly Parton is determined to hold on to the "fountain of youth," for as long as her plastic surgeons can certify body transformation. This she shared in a recent chat with Oprah Winfrey on "The Oprah Winfrey Conversation."
Parton will be 75 years old in a few months, but many fans would attest to the fact that she has not aged a day as she continues blowing minds with her petite hourglass figure and chic fashion sense.

When TV icon Winfrey asked the "Jolene" singer, about the impact of each milestone age on her, Parton noted that she didn't feel like she was aging. The legendary country star made it known that she did not think about her life in terms of numbers. She addressed Winfrey:
"I bet you I won't look much different when I'm 95 if I live that long… I'm gonna look like a cartoon, I'll have on the makeup. I'll look as young as my plastic surgeons will allow me…"
This is not the first time the award-winning singer would be sharing her views about aging. Once in an interview, Parton was quite candid as she opened up about her surgeries. The star noted that although she looked artificial, she was real.
Jane Fonda shared that she used to think being self-conscious was not ideal, but with Parton, being self-conscious seemed to be part of her great personality.
In older times, the "Hello God," crooner has voiced her opinion about being particular about her looks, and these days it is no different. Parton sleeps with her makeup on as she once revealed that she never wants to be caught off-guard. The 74-year-old also noted that her hair was quite expensive.
Before Parton started having plastic surgeries, she was known to never appear without her "full regalia." According to some of her star colleagues, Parton was always professional and always seen in makeup.
The "Rockin' Years" singer's pal Jane Fonda shared that she used to think being self-conscious was not ideal, but with Parton, being self-conscious seemed to be part of her great personality.
So far, the "Coat of Many Colors" crooner had rejuvenated her face on several occasions, enhanced her bosom, and she isn't stopping at nothing to revive anything part of her body that needed to be tended.
Dolly Parton's long-spanning career is a sterling one, which has produced 25 number 1 songs on the Billboard country chart and earned her ten Grammy awards, among other accolades, but she had to make sacrifices.
When asked how she was able to pull such a phenomenal feat as a singer, Parton owed it to her freedom to work. This, she said was a result of being married to an independent man and also not having kids.
