Nine News Melbourne presenter Livina Nixon recently delighted her fans on Instagram with the debut of a new funky hairstyle. In the lovely image, Nixon looked gorgeous as she proudly rocked her new haircut.

Her voluptuous curls had been switched for a mid-length straight bob that rested just on her shoulders. The new hairdo was styled with a parting at the side, allowing some tresses to gracefully cover one side of her face.

Last year, the talented television presenter commemorated 20 beautiful years at Melbourne’s Channel Nine, where she has served in different positions. For Nixon, it began shortly after her stint in the iconic show, “Hey Hey It’s Saturday” as a co-host alongside veteran Daryl Somers.

With an impressive performance on the variety show, Nixon bagged the deal of her life when she was signed to Channel Nine in 1999. In 2004, she became the chief weather presenter and has since proudly carried out her duties with grace and excellence.

Away from her career, Nixon is a family woman. She is happily married to property developer Alistair Jack, and they have two wonderful children, Henry, 10, and Ted, 7. The “Temptation” alum often recalls the touching story of when she met her husband of 11 years.

She noted that her father always urged her to go out there to date as the right man wouldn’t come knocking on her door. However, that seemed to be the exact case when she moved to a new neighborhood and Alistair, who was her neighbor, came knocking on her door with an offer to mow her lawn.
