Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is in a happy and steady relationship with girlfriend Jaime Taylor. One may say that part of the reason behind their strong bond is that the couple prefers to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

The 23-year-old NFL star is not keen on sharing photos of his girlfriend on his social media accounts. But in 2019, Taylor had a rare public appearance when he was interviewed by the Ravens website.

At the time, Taylor commended the 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player for his exceptional ability to ignore unnecessary criticism, saying that she learned how to handle critics through his example.

She said that public criticism used to upset her, but she noticed how Jackson would calmly handle the outside noise. He told her that the best way to quiet the critics is to show them, not talk back to them.

The American footballer truly does not pay much attention to critics. The fun-loving athlete earlier amused fans after he dressed up as the Boy Who Lived at a 2020 Halloween party. But he admitted he is not a Harry Potter fan. He said:

“I’ll be watching it for a good hour then I just doze. Then Harry Potter starts watching me.”

Jackson and Taylor have been supportive of each other’s endeavors. She is one of his greatest inspirations as he slays in the football field each game.

Known for his speed, Jackson debuted in 2018 for the Ravens after he was chosen as the 32nd pick in the 1st round of the 2018 NFL draft.

Jackson was born in a poor Florida neighborhood to parents Felicia Jones and Lamar Jackson Sr. His father died in a car crash when he was eight years old.

Aside from his girlfriend and his mom, Jackson finds strength from his friends and football colleagues.

His father’s death led to a tight bond between Jackson and his mother. During the pre-draft process, she acted as her manager. He later paid tribute to his mom, calling her “the best coach I’ve ever had.”

Jackson went to different public schools growing up. He developed a passion for football at a young age, playing the sport in all schools he went to during his elementary years. At the age of eight, Jackson could already throw 20 yards.

He was not only involved in football. He also took part in track and field events. In 2014, he won Player of the Year at Lou Groza, Palm Beach County.

Aside from his girlfriend and his mom, Jackson finds strength from his friends and football colleagues. One of them is Antonio Brown.

Early this year, the pair were spotted training together on the practice field along with Brown’s cousin Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. The trio was in good spirits as they bonded over practice.
