Tiny Discusses What Caused Strain in Relationship with TI Which Led to Her Filing for Divorce

Former Xscape group member Tameka "Tiny" Harris has revealed the real reason behind her strained relationship with T.I. She also opened up about why she filed for divorce from the rapper after that.

Like any other couple, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, famous for her part in the top 90s band Xscape, and her husband, rapper T.I., also known as Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., have their fair share of marital conflicts.

In an interview with Vlad TV, the 45-year-old reality star shared that juggling responsibilities as a mother of their children and partner had affected her relationship with T.I., with whom she has been married since 2010.

HER DIVIDED ATTENTION

Tiny explained that she found herself dealing with postpartum depression in the past. She thought she would never experience such a condition. She said:

"I just feel like, when you have a baby, I don’t know what it is - it puts a lot of strain on the relationship, especially after."

She pointed out that when a mother like her is attached to the baby, the man will seek attention while she is attending to the baby’s needs. She described it as "ridiculous."

In between carrying the baby and after having it, Tiny added that there is an indescribable mistake she noticed. But after a period of looking after the baby, she was "back on her feet."

Tiny made headlines when she filed for divorce from T.I. twice - in December 2016 and April 2017. She also accused her husband of cheating, shown in VH1’s “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” in 2018.

Their misunderstandings in the early years of marriage took him to seek comfort elsewhere, while Tiny contemplated divorce.

BACK TO BEING A COUPLE AGAIN

However, Tiny, later on, called off their divorce. Citing an anonymous source, HollywoodLife reported that T.I had promised her that he would be the only man for her.

The source added that the rapper is now committed to being the perfect husband and father to their children. He also apologized to his wife for all the hurtful things he caused her.

Before the divorce, Tiny opened up in an interview that the troubles in their marriage started in 2011 when her husband returned from jail. The rapper was jailed due to weapon and drug charges.

T.I. shared that after he gained freedom from jail, the world turned upside down. Their misunderstandings in the early years of marriage took him to seek comfort elsewhere, while Tiny contemplated divorce.
