Prince Harry Crowned Sexiest Royal Alive 2020 despite Stepping Back from His Royal Duties

This month Prince Harry was voted as 2020’s Sexiest Royal Alive for the annual “People” magazine competition. The Duke of Sussex took over the title from his older brother.

Despite giving up his senior royal role in the British Family, Prince Harry still managed to nab a very special title this November. He was named “People” magazine’s Sexiest Royal Alive for 2020.

The runners up include his older brother Prince William, Prince Felix of Luxembourg, Prince Carl Phillip of Sweden, and Prince Mateen of Brunei. Before this recent accolade, Harry was named People’s “Sexiest Dad Alive” a year ago.

The nomination for the Duke of Sussex came as a surprise for others because of his choice to step down from his royal duties in January 2020. At the time, Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, shocked the world when they announced that they wanted to be financially independent.

The couple moved to Canada in North America for a short period of time. They then moved to the US in Malibu, California where they’ve settled together with their toddler son, Archie, and bought a house.

The Sussex’s also don’t use the “HRH,” his or her royal highness, in their titles anymore. However, they did get to keep their Duke and Duchess titles and Harry remains sixth in line to the throne.

In September 2019, “Us Weekly,” made a compilation of Harry’s hottest moments. One of the moments that were noted happened three days after the royal’s only child was born.

In May 2019, Harry was seen at a royal engagement where he wore a special item of clothing. He had on a black Invictus Games jacket that was emblazoned with the word “Daddy” just below the words “Invictus Family.”

Two months after that, he also stunned some fans when he had an unplanned dance session with Jane Goodall. At the time, the royal was at Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Global Leadership Meeting at Windsor Castle.

During that same engagement, Harry also demonstrated a “chimp greeting” for the crowd. He adorably showed off his fun side by patting the conservationist’s head before hugging her.

The duke often lets his hair down during royal engagements and this was true on September 13, 2018. At the time, he was photographed while wearing a suit and sitting behind a miniature car while discussing the Invictus Games.

In June last year, “Pop Sugar,” named the 10 hottest royal men from around the world. Harry made the list alongside Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, Prince Mateen of Brunei to Hussein, and Crown Prince of Jordan.

Harry’s parents are Prince Charles and his mother was the late People’s Princess, Diana. He and his former actress wife got married in May 2018, before Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was welcomed in May 2019.
