Al Roker and 'Butter Man' Reunite at Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 1 Year after Their Feud
AI Roker and his nemesis reunite at a holiday celebration. The pair were last seen together last year on the NBC network; we have the video below of the two's hilarious reunion.
AI Roker and the “Butter Man reunite at Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade one year after their feud. Butter Man came out of nowhere, and AI Roker did not look happy to see him; however, he did compliment him on his return.
The entertaining video starts with AI Roker giving a short weather report “Those are spectacular, kind of our weather 61 degrees it’s been one of the warmest Thanksgiving Day Parade ever,” he said.

Just as AI Roker gave his daily report, the Butter Man popped out with his overly happy spirit in his red, white, and yellow butter costume. The Butter Man appeared to be excited to see the Today co-host once again.
AI Roker turned to him and said, "Ah he’s back! He’s back! I can’t shake him, he’s spreading his joy everywhere, get out of here,” as he shoved him. The “Today” weatherman wore an all-brown outfit, a long coat with a hat, and finished his look with blue glasses.
It appears the pair have buried the hatchet following their hilarious feud last year. According to Today, AI warmly greeted Donny Willis, known as the Butter Man, at this year's Thanksgiving parade.
33-year-old Willis got involved in the parade through a good friend who works at Macy’s. Willis is a pastor at Westchester Church in Vahalla, New York.
The Butter Man relentlessly pursued Roker last year and had people laughing as they began their Thanksgiving Day celebration. Willis reportedly shared on Today that one of his greatest lessons is to embrace big moments like a hot potato.
Roker tried all his might to avoid Willis and could not manage to get him off. Hence Willis became a sensation after that and now he's continuing his tradition.
After the 66-year-old Roker shoved Willis last year, the Butter Man later caught up to the television personality on the parade route, cementing their Thanksgiving rivalry.
The moment went viral, and stars like Hamilton’s Lin Manuel Miranda shared the funny encounter on social media. Many other people reposted the video.
Miranda did a double-take on the moment, and Roker responded to the captured event and jokingly tweeted, "You butter be watching or the yolks on you." The video caused a media frenzy, with Twitter followers also taking to social media and making memes because of the feud.
