Underwood also performed some traditional classic Christmas tunes during the HBO Max Christmas special, backed by a full orchestra and choir, and on a grand stage. There was also a special duet with John Legend, who joined her to sing "Hallelujah." While narrating, Underwood said:

"[...]I wanted to make this album full of love and full of so much heart."

Underwood added that she and HBO Max wanted to bring the album to life visually, adding that she could not wait for everyone to see it. The mother-son duo performed "Little Drummer," and she shared the first snap of the duet with her fans on social media, expressing pride that she and Isaiah captured the sweetest voice at that moment.

Underwood, a seven-time Grammy winner, revealed last month that she asked Isaiah if he wanted to sing on the album. He had no issues doing so, and they practiced together at home, going over the song line by line, word by word.
