Kathie Lee Gifford is best known for her achievements on NBC as the former co-host of "Today With Kathie Lee And Hoda." The mother-of-two has achieved a successful career but her path to fame wasn't easy.

Kathie touched the good and bad moments in her life and discussed how these experiences helped her, including her late husband's cheating scandal. Although the affair caused her a great deal of pain, she told sources it was a crucial part of her memoir.
Gifford also indicated that her faith helped her survive her past struggles, so she could enjoy her life today.
In the book, Gifford stated that it took a therapist's help before she could forgive her husband and the therapist's words saved not only her marriage but also spared her children from dealing with a divorce.
But Frank's infidelity wasn't the only dark moment in Kathie's life as she also discussed cases of sexual abuse in her memoir. The "Then You Came" star stated she was abused as a teenager but didn't share much details about the ordeal.
Gifford also indicated that her faith helped her survive her past struggles, so she could enjoy her life today. The mother-of-two is also ready to date and told sources that her son, Cody has been searching for a man. In her words:
"He promised his father that he would take care of me after Frank was gone. And he takes it way too seriously."
Back in July, after the death of Regis Philbin, Gifford's co-host on "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee," the 67-year-old shared touching stories about their relationship including her husband's 1997 affair.
The NBC star revealed that the late icon was by her side during the scandal and did his best to protect her. The mother-of-two stated that their relationship was full of mutual love and respect while they hosted "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee."
Gifford shared a similar heartfelt message in August 2015, after her husband died from natural causes. Frank's death was confirmed in a statement released by his family and many mourned the former NFL star.
The former athlete played for the New York Giants for 12 years and in 1977, he joined the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Frank married Kathie in 1986 and they were blessed with two children but he also has three kids with his ex-wife, Maxine Avis Ewart.
