TV personality Al Roker and his family are fully in the Christmas spirit as they got together for an adorable family photo wearing matching Christmas outfits.
Christmas is still three weeks away, but many families across the globe are already getting into the spirit of the season with their fully decorated Christmas trees and outfits to go with it.
Over the past week, celebrities have taken to social media to give a preview of their family's Christmas traditions, and at the same time, spread some Christmas cheer amidst the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.
Al Roker and family seem to be ahead with holiday preparations. The popular weatherman, his wife, Deborah Roberts, and three kids — Courtney, 33, Leila, 22, and Nicholas, 18, got together for a cute holiday photo.
Roker and his son wore matching "ugly" Christmas suits in the photo, while the ladies wore matching pants, a white button-up shirt, and a tie. Roker's oldest daughter, Courtney, shared the photo alongside the caption:
"In the holiday spirit."
Yesterday, the "Today" co-host also took to his Instagram page to share a picture of himself wearing an ugly Christmas sweater and looking lively in the kitchen. Roker has been in full Christmas mood throughout the week.
In the build-up to NBC's annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony, the veteran journalist re-ignited his Twitter feud with the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Twitter handle.
Earlier in the month, Roker stunned viewers when he announced that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The two began their hilarious Twitter feud last year and left many reeling with laughter as they exchanged smart jibes full of tree puns. This year, Roker started the assault a few hours before the tree lighting ceremony.
In the early hours of Wednesday, Roker uploaded a video on his Twitter account where he could be seen yelling at the unlit sapling. He then captioned the video writing:
"Oh, it's on @30RockTree. Pressure is on you tonight starting at 8pm ET ON @nbc with #christmasinrockefellercenter."
Last month, Roker expressed his gratefulness for his family as he celebrated Thanksgiving Day. While sharing a rare family photo, he penned a heartfelt post where he claimed they are the reason he is always thankful.
Earlier in the month, Roker stunned viewers when he announced that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He then took a break from the show to prepare for surgery related to the diagnosis.
Following Roker's November 6 announcement, there was an outpouring of love and support for the 66-year-old co-host from his colleagues, fans, and family.
After a two-week hiatus from work, Roker was back on the show at the end of November and was back to his bubbly best. With all that safely behind him, Roker can now look forward to a great Christmas with his family.
