Being a fan of the game since 2006, the 41-year-old revealed that it was truly a thrill to get the chance to map out this season's paths to the playoffs.
The internet went wild for the former MSNBS anchor, whose tireless statistical analysis throughout the Country's recent election helped him gain stardom on news platforms.
Kornacki began his political journalism career as a reporter for a local news website in 2002.
Following this feat, questions stormed the internet, some of which asked how he kept up during the week. Kornacki replied that he took a lot of Diet Coke and, occasionally, Diet Pepsi.
The icon further stated that while in the middle of the election's analysis, adrenaline kicked in naturally for him, which made it easy for him to keep going.

Celebrities like Chrissy Teigen, Billy Eichner and Katie Couric amongst others praised the journalist for his coverage efforts during the election.
It wasn't long after that the reporter became an author of the book, "The Red And Blue: The 1990s and the birth of political tribalism" in 2018. His career has been on the rise ever since, enjoying the support of several fans.
