Check Out Tom Hanks' Son Chet's Short Haircut in New Photos as He Poses in a Military Uniform

Tom Hanks’ son, Chet, once battled addiction but is now following his father’s steps in the entertainment industry, filming for a show in military uniform and a new haircut.

Chet Hanks is a source of inspiration to many who hope to shut down their demons and live better and happier. After years of dealing with substance abuse, he sobered up and got his life back on track.

Chet followed his famous parents Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s footsteps as actors and recently posted an Instagram photo and story in his military uniform.

“Ladies can y’all appreciate a man in uniform let me know,” he captioned the post. In his Instagram story, the actor donned a camouflage uniform and flaunted his new, clean cut.

Chet previously appeared on the shows “Empire,” “Shameless,” “Maron,” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Last year, it was announced that he would also be a cast member of the miniseries, “Your Honor.”

While he may have pursued an acting career, Chet once followed a musical path as a rapper. In 2015, he was faced with criticism for using derogatory terms in his music, which he defended in public.

Chet shares his little girl with Tiffany Miles and relatively keeps her away from the limelight.

For several years, the father-of-one dealt with alcohol and substance abuse, hitting the headlines several times. However, he sobered up after his daughter Michaiah’s birth.

“There’s a part of you that knows that you need to make a change, but you can’t really shut that door on your life and just move on to a new chapter,” he shared, adding that fatherhood made him change.

His parents have also been supportive of him throughout his journey towards sobriety, even stepping in to take care of his daughter since her birth in April 2016.

Chet shares his little girl with Tiffany Miles and relatively keeps her away from the limelight. However, he does not fail to show his unconditional love for Michaiah.

A few months ago, Chet paid tribute to his daughter on social media, sharing a photo of the toddler smiling beside him alongside a sweet caption about choosing the right path in life.

Chet may have gone through several challenges in life before reaching sobriety and happiness, but he was able to gain success because of the love he had for his little princess.
