ABC News Network correspondent Deborah Roberts has shared many Christmas holidays with loved ones, but nothing feels quite like the memory of a childhood holiday with all your siblings.

The "20/20" reporter recalled one such Christmas in a recent snap on her Instagram where she opened up to her followers about her late brother Ben and the impact he had on her.

The photo, which was blurry in some spots, had the hue of a photo that has survived many decades. It showed Roberts and her siblings gathered for a Christmas snap.

The family members posed in front of a sparkling silver Christmas tree. Two girls smiled excitedly with their hair styled in braided ponytails. One wore a brown dress and yellow shirt while the other had a similar outfit in blue and white.

Behind the girls stood two males with their hands resting on the girls' shoulders. The shorter man wore a red outfit while the other man wore a blue shirt. Another sibling knelt in front of the group in a checkered vest and a white shirt.

In the heartfelt caption, Roberts recalled spending Christmas in that Georgia house and all the memories she had with her late brother, admitting that the holidays were never the same after he passed.

Al Roker announced in November that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Roberts also revealed that her brother loved playing practical jokes on her and teasing her and that she always carried him in her heart. The message struck a chord with fans who echoed their sympathies in her comments section.

One fan wrote, "Yes, the holidays are never the same when you lose family," while another commented, "...Thank you for recognizing those we have lost and loved. Those we continue to remember."

While remembering the loss of one man in her life, Roberts has also been dealing with the mortality of another. Her husband Al Roker announced in November that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Although he confirmed that his cancer was aggressive, Roker was in good spirits, adding that he looked forward to returning to television after taking a break to undergo his surgery.

Roberts was very supportive of her husband of 25 years especially as someone who has encountered cancer in the past after her father, Ben Roberts, succumbed to colon cancer.
