Jessica Simpson Announces Her Return to the Screen with 2 TV Shows
Multi-talented artist Jessica Simpson recently took to social media to declare her return to the small screen for important projects with the multinational technology company, Amazon.
As shown in the photo she posted to Instagram on December 9, Jessica Simpson is seen lying on a grassy field. A sparkling sign of Amazon perched behind the star.
For the gorgeous snap, Simpson donned black leggings and boots. The 40-year-old leaned back and giggled in the photograph that already garnered in excess of 90,000 likes.

A MAJOR PROJECT
In the caption, Simpson stated that she has cooperated with Amazon Studios for a big project, which will bring her story to life with a fictionalized coming-of-age series about life in her mid-20s.
The multi-media deal will also include an unscripted docuseries about the acclaimed singer and fashion designer's successful career. Her new role in the company will come with executive producer credits.
HIT SHOW WITH NICK LACHEY
Over 10 years back, Simpson starred in the hit reality show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," which was aired on MTV from 2003 to 2005. It followed her marriage with her then-husband, Nick Lachey.
Simpson is now happily married to former NFL player Eric Johnson.
UNSEEN VIDEOS OF THE STAR
Meanwhile, according to Inquisitr, the unscripted series will highlight previously unseen video footage of Simpson. It will also follow her singing profession, business, and recent sobriety.
As reported by Deadline, Simpson, who started The Jessica Simpson Collection five years ago, will compose two new original essays to be published through Amazon Original Stories.
A HAPPY FAMILY
Simpson is now happily married to former NFL player Eric Johnson. The couple shares three children, Maxwell Drew Johnson, 7, Ace Knute Johnson, 6, and Birdie Mae Johnson, six months.
The "With You" singer has invited her avid fans to follow along through all of her pregnancies. She shared pregnancy updates and her post-baby fitness journey on her social media pages.
Simpson was basically on the same caliber as the likes of Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears in the early 2000s. Her most successful project came with the arrival of her 2003 album, "In This Skin."
The album landed Simpson her highest debut on the charts and furthermore her highest-selling album to date. At 16 years old, Simpson signed with Columbia Records in 1997.
