Erin Napier recently spoke out against negative comments that were written under a photo of her daughter she shared on Instagram. The cruel comments lead her to remove the post.

Napier posted a behind-the-scenes photo of the set from her "Home Town" show, which features herself and her husband, Ben Napier, renovating houses. The caption alongside the photo showed that Napier does not take negativity on social media lightly.

She explained why she removed her recent photo of her daughter as people had left rude comments about her 3-year-old daughter's hair and were questioning the family on their treatment of the coronavirus pandemic.

Although Napier acknowledges that because of her job, she is able to open up her private life to viewers in a way that can be vulnerable, how she said there is a fine line between being vulnerable to help others and privacy,

"I think there is a fine line between privacy and helping others by being vulnerable about some aspects of your life when you’re in the spotlight."

One moment the couple has shared on their Instagram accounts was for their wedding anniversary. Their 12th anniversary was celebrated on November 22nd, they honored the day with loving messages to each other.

Erin shared a video of the couple at their wedding, sharing that she "got a little teary eyed" while watching it. Ben shared a stunning black and white image of the couple kissing on the day, sharing that they continue to say "I do" to each other each day.

Both posts received so many comments of support and love that it is surprising and unfortunate that Erin would have to remove a post due to negative comments from followers.

She said she had to remove the post to be a good steward to her child and to protect her own heart. However, she did add that if followers were capable of speaking negatively about her and others then they should remove themselves,

"If you feel you may be a person capable of communicating this way, please see yourself away from my account or I’ll be glad to help you do that. ?"

The house renovator had spoken up about her complicated relationship with social media. Earlier in September, she explained to fans that she would be distancing herself from Instagram for her own mental health.

She has also turned her comments off and slowly allowed users to comment again. However, in her most recent post where she calls out people for their negative comments, the comments are disabled.
