Singer Lizzo Surprises Mom with a Brand New Audi for Christmas — Check It Out
Three-time Grammy winner Lizzo recently surprised her mother, Shari, with an incredible gift that was beyond her expectations. Her mother's reaction was priceless.
Lizzo's successful music career is not just for herself but it's also for the woman she owed her life with and the reason behind her triumph - her mother, Shari Johnson-Jefferson.
The 32-year-old pop singer whose real name is Melissa Vivianne Jefferson took to Instagram to share Jefferson's precious reaction when she found out about her incredible Christmas gift.

LIZZO'S AMAZING SURPRISE
While Lizzo was taking the video, the "Truth Hurts" songstress and another elder family member took her mother out of their house. Jefferson was unaware of her daughter's jaw-dropping present.
Jefferson, who looked excited, kept her eyes closed as she walked closer to Lizzo's gift. When she opened her eyes, she was surprised at what she saw - a brand new Audi.
Bursting with joy, Jefferson looked at Lizzo and hugged her daughter. The doting mother couldn't help but feel thankful for the singer's remarkable present.
SPOILING HER MOTHER
Lizzo looked happy that her mother loved the gift, as she deserved it after the sacrifice she has done for the family. The "Good As Hell" singer wrote in her post that she wished to provide for her family.
When her father passed away, she remembered crying inside her car with nothing to give for her family. She didn't have a stable job and a home. She captioned:
"I couldnt do it for my dad so ima make sure I spoil Mama. Happy holidays y’all. (sic)"
LIVING IN A CAR
In a previous interview in January, Lizzo opened up about her father's death which deeply affected her. The singer dropped out of the university she was enrolled in and slept on someone else's couch.
Sleeping in a place she doesn't own led her to feel guilty. The acclaimed hip hop artist eventually lived in her Subaru car for a little while and spent Thanksgiving inside it.
In October, Lizzo celebrated her six months of going vegan which she posted in TikTok.
RISING TO THE TOP
Lizzo felt depressed and was on the brink of giving up but she decided to pick herself up. Filled with determination to succeed, she has reached new heights in her career and has achieved a lot within the industry.
The Detroit-native bagged several awards such as a Billboard Music Award, BET Award, and an iHeartRadio Music Award. Lizzo was also named "Entertainer of the Year" by Time in 2019.
Lizzo was earlier criticized by people on social media because she posted a juice detox video on her TikTok account for promoting "diet culture." She explained that she was doing it for health reasons.
Lizzo shared that the healthy diet she has helped improve her sleep and mental stability. She added that every big girl like her should do whatever they want with their bodies.
In October, Lizzo celebrated her six months of going vegan which she posted in TikTok. After switching to a vegan diet, the singer looked happy with her new lifestyle.
