Star singer Monica’s new media update had her fawning over her brother and gushing over their sweet bond over the years. She backed up her post with several images of them enjoying precious sibling moments.

Music star Monica went all out on Instagram, paying a sweet tribute to her brother, Montez, also known as Yella, while she fawned over the sweet sibling bond they share. She wrote in her gleeful post:

“It’s one thing to be bonded, but this connection is unreal! My brother, my best friend & real-life enforcer! I would give my life for you without a second thought…”

The photos attached to the post oozed class and style as the siblings looked elegant, rocking tasteful outfits. While Monica rocked a brown winter coat with furry details, she spiced it up with Burberry mittens, perfect makeup, and a sleek, wavy hairstyle.

Montez, standing tall and graceful, opted for an all-black glam that included a biker jacket donned over a T-shirt and matching black pants. He snapped his face cap behind while completing his look with gold chains.

The powerful sibling photos caught the attention of many fans and celebrities alike. While Monica’s fans made for the comment section in droves to give their approval, stars like Brandy Norwood and L&HH’s Bambi shared some love.

For Montez’s birthday, which he celebrated earlier in the month, the star singer reminded him of her love and affection while she posted photographs showing the birthday boy looking radiant and happy with family.

Last month, Monica, 40, attained an impressive milestone in her already iconic music career when she was honored at the recently concluded 2020 Soul Train Awards.

Monica, who sang the legendary “The Boy is Mine” track alongside Brandy, bagged the Lady of Soul Train accolade, which is considered to be the highest recognition bestowed by the show.

While giving her acceptance speech, Monica thanked her family, friends, and fans who helped her climb the ladder of success amid challenges. The star also noted that she was an accomplished star who is not ready to stop.

The 40-year-old is known for how she prefers to stay low-key and away from spotlight drama, but this did not stop her fame and beautiful music from spreading far and wide.

Monica started singing from the age of twelve and showed how enigmatic she was by recording songs for her first album at the same age. By 15, she released her debut album.

Soon enough, she shot to stardom with hit tracks like “Before You Walk Out of My Life” and “Don’t Take It Personal,” and also became the recipient of several awards.

Despite all of this, Monica stayed grounded, keeping a low profile and being selective about the information she shares on her life updates. Presently, she is a mom-of-three who handles motherhood and her showbiz projects.
