Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan reveal the significance behind their wedding song in the first episode of their Podcast. The Duke and Duchess' break-away agreement from The Royal Family expires in March 2021.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared what their wedding song was and the significant meaning it holds for them, in their first Podcast since entering into a deal with Spotify.
In the podcast, the young Royals reveal that they selected Etta James' "This Little Light Of Mine" for their nuptials. The Duchess reiterated the importance of the message with the help of a Martin Luther King quote about light driving out darkness.

The 36-year-old Duke said the song holds a special place for both of them and was played as the coupled walked down the stairs of the church, once they had become husband and wife. The Duchess added:
"It was the music we wanted playing when we started our lives together."
Prince Harry went on to say the song was particularly relevant in light of the Covid-19 Pandemic, given the ability people have within them to improve the state of the world.
There was also a special appearance made by the couples adorable 1-year-old son, Archie. During the podcast, the parents are heard asking Archie whether he is enjoying himself, to which the young one responds "fun."
Two want to continue living ordinary lives in Montecito.
For their Holiday Season special, the Royals had invited the likes of Sir Elton John and James Corden as guests, to reflect on their experience of what The Duke described as a tough year.
2020 also saw the release of the family Christmas card, in the form of a drawing shared by the Mayhew Charity. In the card, the Duke and Duchess are seen playing with Archie in front of a playhouse at their home in Montecito. The caption reads:
"We’re thrilled to receive wonderful Christmas wishes from our Patron, The Duchess of Sussex."
It was the couple's first Christmas in their new $15million Santa Barbara home, complete with Cypress and Olive trees, immaculate rose gardens, a tennis court, and a pool.
The Duke and Duchess recently purchased 100 hats from the New Zealand organization, Make Give Live. Founder, Claire Conza said they were able to match the contributions and donate 200 hats to needy New Zealanders.
Archie was spotted wearing their Cocobear hat on New Year's Day. According to Conza, demand for the hats continued since then, with a total of 3500 hats having been donated to those in need.
March 31, 2021, will see the agreement that the Duke and Duchess entered into to live their lives outside of the spotlight of the Royal family come to an end.
According to the royal biographer, Andrew Morton, Prince Harry plans to travel to see the senior royals in person, to extend the agreement for longer, as the two want to continue living ordinary lives in Montecito.
