Ayesha Curry Cuddles up Next to Husband Steph on New Year's Eve – Check Out Her Message for 2021

Celebrity chef Ayesha Curry, who has three children with NBA great Steph Curry, uploaded a cute slideshow posing next to him while sharing her message for 2021.

On New Year’s Eve, Ayesha treated her over 7.3 million Instagram followers with a three-image slideshow of her and her husband. Saying that they looked beautiful is an understatement.

In the three photos, the couple appeared cuddling up sitting on the floor. Steph opted for black socks, dark grey joggers, a black shirt, and a matching hoodie. He also put on glasses.

On the other hand, Ayesha wore beige socks, light brown shorts, and a blue top. They are the living proof that a marriage can last long, even for athletes. In the caption, she wrote:

“2021... let’s have some fun. Grateful for health, family, resilience, grace and these kneeeeees.”

Shortly after the celebrity chef uploaded her post on Instagram, some of her fans and followers took to the comment section to wish them a happy new year and share their thoughts.

Some of them pointed out that the Currys were their “favorite couple.” Another netizen admitted that they were so “nice” and “inspirational,” and they loved them.

THEIR LOVE STORY

Steph and Ayesha’s love story is one of a kind. They met as teenagers at their church youth group in Charlotte, but since he was the “cute boy” every girl had a crush on, Ayesha considered he was not for her.

A few years after that, Ayesha began her acting and modeling career in Los Angeles and Steph was playing college basketball for Davidson. Since he had to go to LA for the ESPY’s, they reconnected.

Although Steph was already making a name for himself at the time (around 2008), Ayesha had no idea about it. In fact, she once wrote for theater class that she didn’t want to date athletes because “they’re arrogant.”

Ayesha apparently really meant that because she turned him down at first. Eventually, she accepted going out with him and realized he was quite funny and silly, the opposite of what she thought he’d be.

From that point on, they have been almost inseparable. They tied the knot on July 30, 2011, and share three children at the moment: daughters Riley and Ryan, and son Canon.

Speaking of children, Ayesha made headlines in 2019 after saying that the secret to their long marriage was putting themselves first, not the kids. Their strategy has worked just perfectly!
