Dancer Peta Murgatroyd penned a heartfelt tribute to her husband of three years, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, to sweetly ring in the New Year. The “DWTS” alum shared a series of loved-up photos.

Peta Murgatroyd rang in the New Year, giving a shoutout to the number one man in her life, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Over the weekend, Murgatroyd serenaded her husband with sweet words in a touching letter she penned to him in time for 2021.

In the upload she titled "Husband Appreciation Post," the “Dancing with the Stars” star shared a six-slide photo of her and Chmerkovskiy dressed in matching sweaters as they posed in front of their well-decorated Christmas trees.

The picture procession began with the lovebirds in a warm embrace as they smiled, but it soon progressed to an intimate kiss and concluded with the couple intensely locking lips as they moved away from the camera.

In the caption, Murgatroyd expressed her wishes for them as they moved into the new year. She wrote that she hoped they would be able to work through whatever challenges came their way while sticking to their usual manner of lovingly communicating.

She lauded their unique connection noting that they instinctively knew when the other person was upset. The dancer then gushed about her husband, writing:

“I woke up more obsessed with you than last year, and for that, I’m grateful! May we continue to put each other first. “

The 34-year-old concluded her tribute, assuring her husband that she was ready for whatever 2021 has in store for them. The dancer couple has a love story that never fails to warm hearts.

In July, the actress revealed that she and her husband were going to try for baby number 2 soon.

They first crossed paths in 2009 while on Broadway on the set of “Burn the Floor.” However, it wasn’t until three years later when they reconnected on DWTS that sparks began to fly.

In 2012, they began dating, and three years later, the Ukrainian dancer popped the question to the “Faith, Hope & Love” actress. They walked down the aisle in July 2017, six months after they welcomed their son, Shai.

The family-of-three has evolved over the years, with their tight bond keeping them close. However, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy don’t mind giving their 3-year-old son a sibling soon.

In July, the actress revealed that she and her husband were going to try for baby number 2 soon. She explained that they want Shai to enjoy his childhood and grow up with siblings around.

Murgatroyd's revelation comes after she and her sister-in-law Jenna Johnson disclosed their intentions to get pregnant at the same time. Johnson, who is married to Valentin Chmerkovskiy, noted that she doesn't want to be miserable alone.
