Witney Carson maintains a successful career as a professional dancer on "Dancing With the Stars," and she is married to the man of her dreams, Carson McAllister. Now, the couple just welcomed their first child.

The couple documented their excitement ahead of their son's arrival, right through to the latest highlight – being able to take their son home for the first time.

MEMORABLE FIRSTS

Taking to social media on January 7, the new mom excitedly shared the news by posting images of the newborn in his car seat. “Guess who gets to go home today! So happy," she wrote.

Once Carson got home with her son, the rest of their family waited to give them a warm welcome. As mom and baby walked in, they were greeted by a festive decoration of the home's front door.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD

The Utah native gave birth to her son on Sunday, January 3, following a "really hard 24-hour labor," which unexpectedly turned into a C-section.

Their paths first went their separate ways until they crossed again for good.

Shortly after Carson and McAllister welcomed their bundle of joy, the dancer shared the happy news with her followers, along with his name, and wrote:

"Kevin Leo McAllister. Named after his grandpa who sent him down to us. Born on Jan. 3rd 2021. 7lbs. 2oz. 21” long!"

THE HAPPY COUPLE

While the couple tied the knot in Salt Lake City in 2016, they actually met during their high school days. Even so, their paths first went their separate ways until they crossed again for good.

Now, McAllister and Carson couldn't be happier. While they've officially become a family of three, Carson is grateful to have someone by her side who has known her most of her life and who loves her.

Meanwhile, little Kevin Leo is sure to be comfortable in his nursery at home. Late in December last year, the professional dancer gave a glimpse into the neutral but classically-styled space.

Crediting Four Chairs Furniture & Design for their outstanding job done, Carson loves every inch of the transformation, ready in time for its adorable occupant.
