Sarah Michelle Gellar Starts Her Week on a Positive Note & Motivates Herself for 2021

This week, Sarah Michelle Gellar took to social media to share a photo of herself from a year ago. In the caption of the post, the actress reflected on the past year and motivated herself for the year ahead.

On Monday, January 11, 2021, Sarah Michelle Gellar took the time to reflect on 2020. Included in her Instagram post was a photo of herself sitting in a black bikini, wearing sunglasses, and having a drink by a pool.

In the caption of the post, the actress revealed that the image was taken last year on the same day. She explained that at the time, she had been on vacation in Mexico on a girl’s trip.

Gellar noted how much fun they’d had watching movies on a couch, swimming, drinking, watching the sunset from the beach, and hugging a lot. She shared that they hadn't known the COVID-19 pandemic was on its way.

They didn’t have any idea what the year would bring. The friends didn’t know that the vacation was the last time they would be able to see each other for more than a year, with the star adding:

“I’m looking at this pic today, not in sadness but as my #mondaymotivation to do everything in my power so we can all get back to that place.”

The actress humorously noted that the “place” would probably not be a rented house in Mexico, but she hoped her fans understood what she meant. She continued her post by sharing all the things we had to look forward to.

Gellar, 43, mentioned looking forward to hugging friends, seeing loved ones, and not living with the heavyweight of COVID-19. She encouraged her followers by sharing that she believed they could do it.

In her Instagram story, the star shared another photo from that day at the pool. She wrote over the image that she had no idea what the year had in store for her and the rest of the world.

At the end of December 2020, the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” actress shared several photos on her Instagram and story to show how much she was done with the year. The star clearly had enough of 2020.

In one selfie, she was photographed with her middle finger raised. It appears Gellar was ready to say goodbye to the year and begin a new one on a fresh start with big hopes and dreams.

Prinze mentioned how his children reacted to seeing Gellar kissing someone else on “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.”

The star’s husband is Freddie Prinze Jr., 44, and the couple is parents to a daughter, Charlotte, 11, and a son Rocky, 8. During the same month, Prinze discussed how the children dealt with their mother’s acting.

The actor mentioned how his children reacted to seeing Gellar kissing someone else on “Buffy The Vampire Slayer.” Prinze revealed that their boy was too young to even care.

The actor shared that the boy sometimes didn’t even know that it was his mother that he was watching. The boy wouldn’t pick up that it was her because of the different colored wigs she would wear in some scenes.
