ET: Alec Baldwin Is Living in a Separate Home from His Wife Hilaria & Their 5 Kids

American actor Alec Baldwin prioritized his family's safety by living in a separate home from his wife Hilaria Baldwin and their five children amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to reports by ET online, actor Alec Baldwin is currently living in a separate home away from his wife Hilaria Baldwin and their five children, 7-year-old daughter Carmen, 5-year-old Rafael, 4-year-old Leonardo, 2-year-old Romeo, and 4-month-old Eduardo.

The 62-year-old actor was quarantined separately from his wife and five children to ensure their safety during the pandemic as he continued to work on his project.

Baldwin revealed that he stayed in a guesthouse in an Instagram video. He explained the separation was necessary after his trip to New York. He would only make contact with his family once he got tested.

The actor lamented about the lockdown, tagged it as hard, unnatural, and odd. However, he learned a thing or two from his lockdown experience, one of which was that people needed fewer things in their lives.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Baldwin took to Instagram to greet his wife Hilaria on her 37th birthday with a photo of them and their five beautiful children.

Hilaria was recently in hot waters regarding a controversy about her background. It was alleged that she lied about her Spanish roots and spoke with a fake Spanish accent despite being raised in Boston.

Alec's daughter, Ireland Baldwin, also defended her stepmother in a recent Instagram post.

The 37-year-old has come out to address some of the allegations levied against her. Hilaria admitted she was born and raised in Boston and that her real name is "Hillary." However, Hilaria does not deny her Spanish heritage.

Hilaria's narrative did not sit well with many critics, stating that she earlier claimed to have moved to America at the age of 19 to study during an episode of the "Mom Truths" podcast.

Baldwin showed support for his wife despite the social media backlash. The "30 Rock" star defended his wife on Instagram, responding to users who questioned her background by reinstating what the "Mom Brain" podcast co-host said about her heritage since the beginning of the controversy.

Alec is not the only Baldwin who came to Hilaria's defense. Alec's daughter Ireland Baldwin also defended her stepmother in a recent Instagram post. Ireland tagged Hilaria's critics as "sad and pathetic" for digging into her past.

The 25-year-old model was full of praises for her stepmother, who she said was a good person. Ireland also stated that Hilaria has always respected Alec's relationship with her and took good care of him.

The Baldwins got married on June 20, 2012, and the couple has been inseparable since then, loving each other and staying together amid many challenges they have faced.
