See Ashley Tisdale's Update on 7th-Month Pregnancy as She Reveals to Already Having Baby's Name

Ashley Tisdale is looking forward to first-time motherhood. The actress revealed that she and her husband already picked a name before the pregnancy with a girl on the way.

"High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale and her composer husband, Christopher French, can't wait to welcome their bundle of joy into the world. Prepared for the big day, they even have a name picked out.

Tisdale shared news of her pregnancy last September, and the couple, who married in 2014, revealed they are expecting a girl the following month.

LIVING IN THE MOMENT

During an interview with PEOPLE, Tisdale joked that French looked "scared" when they learned the sex of their baby. But it's a dream come true for the actress, and she's taken a level-headed approach, noting:

"I try to not have expectations in moments like that and just allow what is meant to be. I was very excited."

NAMED

While Tisdale already revealed much about her pregnancy journey so far, she most recently shared during a virtual interview with Access Hollywood that her baby's name was chosen before she became pregnant and said:

"She was named before she even came. We thought of the name last year, actually."

THE JOURNEY

The actress has been keeping busy. While serving as a panelist on "The Masked Dancer," Tisdale also launched a lifestyle website called Frenshe, and not much about her daily life changed so far.

Taking it a step further by watching her movies with her daughter is just not who she is.

While her routine basically stayed the same, Tisdale said that she does pay more attention to her body's voice, including its cravings that require "something sweet" after supper to settle down.

Already daydreaming about all she would do with her daughter in the future, it doesn't include watching the "High School Musical" flicks or any other of the films she stars in.

Tisdale doesn't enjoy watching herself onscreen, and taking it a step further by watching her movies with her daughter is not who she is.

Another actress recently shared the happy news of her pregnancy. Emma Stone took to social media earlier in January to announce that she and her husband are expecting their first child as well.

Stone and her husband, David McCary, began their love journey in 2017. The pair initially had their wedding planned for March 2020, but they had a low-key ceremony later on due to the pandemic.
