Blake Shelton Admits Fiancée Gwen Stefani Is Not Letting Him See His Friends Amid Quarantine
Country musician Blake Shelton took part in a radio interview where he hilariously revealed that his fiancée doesn’t allow him to go out and see his friends amid the novel Coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
Blake Shelton took part in Luke Bryan’s Apple hosted “Party Barn Radio” interview last week. During the remote interview, Shelton revealed that he was at his ranch in Oklahoma.
He confessed to Bryan, a fellow country musician, that he missed him since it had been around 8 or 9 months since they’d seen each other. Bryan refuted his friend’s claims that he missed him.

The show host shared that when he texted Shelton while in Los Angeles it meant he wanted him to actually respond. The country musician, who is engaged to Gwen Stefani, hilariously explained why he didn’t respond.
He admitted to Bryan that he struggled a lot with saying no to people. Turning things on Stefani, Shelton then revealed that she was adamant about him following quarantine rules and staying safe.
The star explained how his fiancée “won’t let him" see his friends. Jokingly, Bryan asked if the rule was a positive thing for their sex life and Shelton hilariously confessed that it was since Stefani was the only person he saw.
The country singer added how he didn’t have “buddy-hanging-out-time” as they were always locked indoors. Shelton admitted that he didn’t text Bryan back because his ego just wouldn’t allow it.
He confessed that he just couldn’t see himself texting his friend to admit that his fiancée wouldn’t let him go out. Shelton put his feelings clearly and out in the open by stating:
"That’s tough. You know what I am saying. It’s embarrassing.”
Instead of sympathizing with his friend, the “American Idol” judge mocked him by noting that Stefani made all the decisions. He also hilariously noted how the “Hollaback Girl” singer thought he was infected with COVID-19.
Shelton went along with the joke stating how they would see the radio host hanging out with people on his music videos. He judged Bryan for high-fiving and licking people, describing the star’s behavior as out of control.
The country musician mocked his friend back by describing him as a super spreader. Back in September, Stefani described her time in quarantine as a magical time for her, her fiancé, and her children.
Blake Shelton called the time they got to spend together a real gift for them.
She confessed to them cooking and baking together. “The Voice” coach admitted that she’d learned to make sourdough bread, they built a garden, and planted thousands of zinnia flowers.
In July 2020, Shelton also shared how much he was enjoying spending time with his fiancée during the quarantine. He called the time they got to spend together a real gift for them.
The star also shared how they would spend the time riding their four-wheelers among other things. During that time, Stefani also cut Shelton’s hair into a mullet on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."
