Bob Saget Posts Cute before & after Photo of 'Full House' Co-star Jodie Sweetin on Her Birthday

Bob Saget posted adorable before and after pictures on his Instagram page on Wednesday of his “Full House” co-star Jodie Sweetin to wished her a happy birthday as she turns 38.

Bob Saget posted before and after snaps posing with his co-star and friend Jodie Sweetin as a child and then as an adult to mark the star’s growth in a caption that called Sweetin an empowered young woman.

Saget, who has worked with the star for several years, also expressed his confusion at the idea insinuating Sweetin had changed from her days as a child actor. Saget maintained that Sweetin is still the same.

Many fans joined Saget as he wished Jodie a happy birthday, flooding Saget’s replies with love heart emojis and exclamation marks. Some fans went as far as to compare the date of Sweetin’s birthday to theirs or their kin.

In the celebratory pic, the comedian expressed his pride in the Sweetin, adding that he is proud to have known the actress for years and always will be proud to so in the future. Sweetin thanked the star, saying:

"Love you so so much!!! ❤️❤️"

Saget and Sweetin met as actors on the set of hit 90’s sitcom "Full House," where Sweetin played Stefanie Tanner. The two reunited on the Full House remake Fuller House at ABC with most of the original cast.

In his post, Saget perhaps hinted at Sweetin overcoming her personal struggles. Sweetin had suffered from an addiction to cocaine when she was just in high school, followed by an addiction to crystal meth.

The star will join her best friend, Celia Behar, in a podcast to help parents who feel stuck.

The actress has since overcome her addiction and will mark 5 years of her sobriety on March 2021. Sweetin has talked openly about her battle with her mental health. The actress disclosed that Covid-19 impacted her anxiety.

On an episode of "Alec Mapa: Hot Mess With Matthew Dempsey, Psychotherapist," which went live on January 18th, Sweetin talked about her struggle with food. The star revealed that she is a stress starver saying:

“So when there's anxiety or stress going on or chaos or whatever, I completely lose my appetite and I'm so out of touch with what my own body needs.”

Sweetin then told Alec the situation worsened after she attended protest 3 days in a row. The high-stress situation and the heat in summer impacted Sweetin, who was not eating and was severely dehydrated.

Sweetin ended up in the ER ended and had to get two bags of fluids. The doctors even told the 38-year-old that her kidney had started to fail. Sweetin then realized her mental state was affecting her ability to be a mum.

Sweetin is mom to Beatrix, 8, who she shares with ex-husband Morty Coyle and Zoie, 11, from ex-husband Cody Harpin. The star will join her best friend, Celia Behar, in a podcast to help parents who feel stuck.

Saget stunned fans with his singing skills in the competition show "Masked Singer." Saget was revealed to be Squiggly Monster. On his departure, Saget praised the show for bringing joy to many during a difficult 2020.
