Here's Why Eva Mendes Said She Had To Take a Break From Social Media
Hollywood star Eva Mendes revealed that she became cautious about her social media usage and took a break after her daughter reflected on how long she spends on the internet.
Eva Mendes affirmed on her recent Instagram update that it was fine allowing kids to call their parents out on their excesses. This she shared while opening up on her reason for cutting down on social media usage.
In the image attached to her post, Mendes took a screenshot from the Latin Parenting official Twitter page and shared their thoughts on parent-children relations.

The information stated that kids could get fiercely aligned with their values and not hesitate to point out when they have been neglected.
The star mom penned how her little one had pointed out that she spent too much time on her phone. Mendes noted that her daughter took it personally, and the issue had to be resolved with a conversation. She captioned:
"Thank you to @latinxparetning for this important reminder. I haven't posted lately because my little one told me I was on the phone too much."
Mendes, 46, mentioned that she apologized to her daughter and also worked on getting better. The actress realized that she was usually home with her kids but rarely present with them.
Mendes shares her two daughters, Esmeralda and Amanda, with her fellow actor, Ryan Gosling, and in weeks leading to her break from social media, the actress gave updates on motherhood.
She had not been to the beach in a while.
The star mom once mentioned that she was not always big on having kids until she met Ryan, and so far, raising her kids with him has paid off after 20 years of being solely dedicated to her career.
Recently, the mom-of-two talked about family life in quarantine and hilariously compared raising her daughters to harboring two aggressive guests in a bed-and-breakfast franchise.
However, the doting mom quipped that she would not have it any other way as she enjoyed staying with her family, knowing that they were all safe amid the pandemic.
The star reaffirmed her sentiment in one media update when she interacted with fans. She had posted an old photo on Instagram while adding that she had not been to the beach in a while.
In response to this, a fan asked her to go out more with her spouse, but Mendes opposed, stating that she would rather be home with her man than anywhere else.
