Eva Mendes Gets Candid as She Discusses Parenting with Husband Ryan Gosling during Quarantine

In a rare interview, talented actress Eva Mendes opened up about her parenting experience with husband Ryan Gosling during the self-quarantining period.

Many started the year 2020 with a lot of hopes and expectations. However, the year quickly unraveled as the novel coronavirus outbreak forced most cities worldwide into a compulsory lockdown.

The entertainment industry was severely impacted by the highly contagious virus, with the shooting of movies and TV productions stopped to limit the spread of COVID-19.

In a recent interview with "The Sydney Morning Herald," actress Eva Mendes got candid about having to spend an extended time at home with her husband, Ryan Gosling, and their two daughters, Esmeralda, 6, and Amada, 4.

Mendes, 46, who is known to be notoriously private about her personal life, did not hold back as she offered her fans what it felt like having everyone at home during the lockdown. In her words:

"Sometimes it feels like we are running some kind of bed-and-breakfast with very drunk and aggressive guests."

The "drunk and aggressive" guests Mendes is referring to are her two daughters. Despite the two being a handful for their parents, the "Hitch" star claimed they still feel blessed to have everyone together and safe.

Mendes and Gosling first met while they were on the set of the 2012 film, "The Place Beyond the Pines." The two are one of Hollywood's cutest couples, but they have kept their relationship notoriously private through the years.

She intelligently shut down one of her followers, who urged her to get her husband to take her out more often.

Despite being together for nearly a decade, the couple has rarely been spotted publicly together, and they have gone to great lengths to shield their daughters from the prying eyes of the public.

Mendes' devotion to her family, especially her daughters, has meant that her career has stuttered in the last few years. However, the mother of two claims she is eager to get back to work soon. She said:

"I've been so happy to be able to incubate with my babies, but now they are four and six, I'm starting to feel like my ambition is coming back."

Even though Mendes' career has taken a backseat in the last few years, she has genuinely enjoyed her motherhood journey, and from the look of things, she is still having so much fun with her girls.

While the 46-year-old actress still does not share pictures of her kids, she recently took to her Instagram page to show off a cute artwork made by her 4-year-old daughter, Amada.
