Ciara & Russell Wilson Mourn Kobe & Gigi Bryant One Year after Helicopter Crash — See Tributes

Celebrity couple and close friends of the Bryants, Ciara and Russell Wilson, shared their heartfelt messages in honor of the late basketball champ and his daughter, a year after the incident that claimed their lives.

Following the one year anniversary of the death of former NBA star Kobe Bryant and his teen daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash, Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara recently shared heartwarming tributes.

Wilson posted a photo of the duo and his caption started with a quote from Bryant about being an inspiration in people’s lives, while he added that the father-daughter pair did inspire a lot of lives in their lifetimes.

“Level Up” crooner, Ciara also put up a soul-stirring post on her Instagram page. The one-photo post showed the father-daughter duo enjoying a warm moment together. Ciara's caption read:

“Gi Gi and Kobe Forever. Love you so much @vanessaBryant @NataliaBryant. Always here…”

Last December, Wilson appeared at his team’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, embodying Bryant's Mamba mentality legacy. The football champ rocked a black Lakers jersey with Bryant’s jersey numbers 8 and 24 on the back and front.

Besides having fun together and showing affection for each other, Ciara and Vanessa share motherhood moments as well.

He spiced his gear with a pair of neon-colored Kobe 6 “Grinch” sneakers, which were re-launched towards the end of 2020. Speaking about his outfit, the dad-of-two noted that he always thought about Bryant when reflecting on the year 2020.

In months following Bryant’s passing, many fans have witnessed how Ciara and her spouse stayed close to his wife Vanessa and kids, providing support and showing affection and care for his kids.

During Bryant's little daughter Bianka’s birthday, the couple presented her with a cute pink Range Rover to drive in, and her mom was overjoyed on social media, thanking the couple for the kind gesture.

Last year, a few days after Christmas, Ciara and her bestie, Vanessa, took all their kids on a fun-filled skiing experience that marked her first time on the snowy Alps.

Many of their photos appeared on Instagram with Ciara and her kids, Sienna, Future, and Win, making the most of the fun time. Vanessa and her daughters, Natalia, Bianka, and little Capri, also basked in the warm moments.

Besides having fun together and showing affection for each other, Ciara and Vanessa share motherhood moments as well. During one of their times together, both moms were photographed breastfeeding their little ones.

The image showed them sitting adjacent in a private jet. While star mom Vanessa opted for a brightly patterned shawl over her 15-month-old baby, Capri, Ciara wrapped her two-month-old son, Win, in a warm black cloth.
