Woman Yells at a Lady for Untying Her Dog While She Was Shopping
A woman lost her cool with a lady at the grocery store after seeing that she had untied her dog while shopping. A few days later, she regrets her action and wishes to make amends.
Several countries worldwide are currently experiencing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. With this in mind, it remains important to follow social distancing guidelines.
Lydia, a 30-year-old woman, is the proud owner of Jack, a border collie who she enjoys taking on daily walks. As most dog owners can confirm, these walks often come with attention from people who either stop to stare at the adorable pets or ask to touch them.

While this might be a regular occurrence, given the global pandemic, Lydia finds it a bit odd that people would still be interested in touching her dog.
Though Lydia is not a high-risk patient, she makes sure to adhere to the social distancing guideline when she is out and about. This includes frequent use of a hand sanitizer and keeping her face mask on.

Before the pandemic, Lydia and Jack went on a walk every day, but by the middle of 2020, she reduced their walks to three times a week.
Sometimes, Lydia's walks coincide with days she has to run errands, so at least once in two weeks, she and Jack walk to the grocery store to get supplies.

Often, she ties Jack to a rack, runs into the store to grab a few things, and comes out soon enough. Lydia and her dog then walk back home.
Seeing that Jack was always where she tied him before going into the store, Lydia never realized it was the wrong spot since no one ever stopped her. What happened a few days ago, therefore, came as a surprise.

After running into the grocery store, Lydia came out to see an older woman holding Jack by his leash. Not only was she holding the dog, but she had also moved him to another spot.
The older woman explained that Jack had been toed to the wrong part of the building, and she had wanted to move him to the right spot. However, she could not hook the leash, so she had to wait for Lydia to return.

Seeing that the woman had no respect for social distancing guidelines, Lydia yelled at her to never touch people's pets without their permission as this could put them at risk of getting infected.
However, after a few days of retrospection, Lydia believes she went overboard by yelling and figured she could have communicated more calmly.

While anger seemed to be the easiest reaction at the time, Lydia wishes to turn back the hands of the clock and right her wrong. However, not much can be done about the past; we can only hope to do better in the future.
