Kamala Harris' Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff Signs with Img Models after Appearance at Inauguration

After an eye-catching appearance in the recent Inauguration, Kamala Harris's beautiful step-daughter, Ella, is a renowned modeling agency's new face.

Ella Emhoff, the step-daughter of US Vice President Kamala Harris, became one of the fresh faces of IMG Models, an international modeling agency in New York City.

The agency's official Instagram account shared a black-and-white picture of the 22-year-old Ella dressed in a cropped sleeveless shirt and pants.

A NEW MILESTONE

Ella, whose father is First Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, recently signed a contract with the modeling agency. Her shot to fame was when she wore a jewel-encrusted Miu Miu coat during her stepmother's inauguration.

She and fellow newbie model Amanda Gormand are listed along with top models Gigi Hadid, Kate Moss, and Gisele Bundchen. IMG Models president Ivan Bart found a unique flair in Ella and said:

"Ella communicates this moment in time. There's a cheekiness and a joy she exudes."

STAYING TRUE TO HERSELF

Kerstin Mackin, a film producer and Ella's biological mother, became proud of her daughter's major milestone. Mackin shared that her daughter is staying true to her cheeky personality.

Aside from her commanding presence during the inauguration, Ella has unique and unconventional looks that speak so much about her fun and creative personality.

While she appeared in IMG's official picture with a spotless look, the top modeling agency also shared a casual snap of Ella. The young model has about 18 tattoos.

Among her tattoos are images of a cow, a flower on a vase, bacon, and eggs. As for the rest of her tattoos, Ella did some of them herself during the quarantine period.

IMG is not Ella's first modeling agency.

ECCENTRIC BUSHWICK FASHION

There's no wonder why Ella loves to dress up in quirky clothes. The young model, labeled as "The Daughter of Bushwick," specializes in textiles at Parsons School of Design in New York.

Her love for clothes led her to have a penchant for knitting. She had several snaps of herself on her Instagram feed dressed in colorful knitted clothes and pants. She also makes knitted bags.

IMG is not Ella's first modeling agency. With few experiences in modeling for a small-time agency in the past, she hopes to use her new opportunity to be a part of a change in the fashion industry.

Like Ella's biological mother, Kamala is proud of her stepdaughter's accomplishments. While modeling, Ella plans to do fundraising for knitwear artists and bring the "Bushwick" style to the high-fashion scene.
