'Empire' Star Taraji P Henson Is All Smiles in a Mini Dress Ahead of Golden Globe Nominations

Taraji P. Henson looked stunning while announcing the Golden Globe nominees in an outfit that she later revealed on her Instagram page. Her excitement was clear as day as she posed in a mini-dress and stunning cherry colored hair.

"Empire" actress Taraji P. Henson and "Sex and the City" actress Sarah Jessica Parker had the honor of announcing the 2021 Golden Globe nominees live on "The Today Show" on February 3.

Henson, who won a Golden Globe in 2016, was still in a great mood after the show and decided to share a pre-show photo showing off the stylish outfit she rocked for the virtual event.

In the snap, Henson looked fabulous in a sleeveless lace mini dress that showed off her slender legs. She accessorized with a dainty gold-studded white Valentino bag, which she held with perfectly manicured nails.

For the big event, the "Hidden Figures" actress called on the professional hands of celebrity hairstylist, Tym Wallace who brought her cherry pink tresses to life with flirty waves that shaped her radiant face.

Henson's cute smile and pose delighted her Instagram followers, who took to the comments section to praise and compliment her on the professional achievement and stunning outfit.

Famous friends also left adoring comments under the pic. Actress Skai Jackson wrote, "I’m obsessed with the hair," while "Sister, Sister," star Tia Mowry commented, "I mean a FORCE!!! Congrats!"

Henson's choice of hairstyle was perfect for the event she hosted alongside "The Family Stone" actress but it wasn't the first time she rocked the colorful tresses.

The "What Men Want" actress first debuted the new hair color in January when she cut her hair into an attractive pink-pixie cut that made her look decades younger than her 50 years.

Only a week before

cut her hair, she rocked a purple braided updo while she spent the majority of 2020 rocking red hair. With all the color changes and hairstyles, the actress has to take care of her natural hair, and she has the perfect routine.

The hair aficionado has her own hair care line, TPH by Taraji, which features 18 different products all aimed at protecting natural hair while making its maintenance more manageable.
