People: Kim Kardashian Has a Divorce Plan in Place and Has No Contact with Kanye West
Kim Kardashian is currently not in contact with Kanye West, a source told PEOPLE. The source also mentioned that the reality star plans to file for divorce when she's ready.
Kim Kardashian already leads a free life. An insider recently revealed that she and Kanye West are barely communicating now as they move towards a split that can occur anytime soon.
Kardashian and West, who tied the knot on May 24, 2014, at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, continue living separate lives, the source told PEOPLE, adding: "They have no contact."

Kardashian is cool with raising their four children alone, the source explained. The two share daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2.
The source continued to mention that Kardashian, who first gained popularity as a stylist and friend of Paris Hilton, makes time for her children and work while she seems to be enjoying her life.
She plans to file for divorce once she is ready, the source said. The source further noted that their issues are a big focus of the finale of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which will premiere on March 18.
Thus, when the season has aired, the star is likely to file for divorce, the source added. A month ago, PEOPLE was told that Kardashian has been working with divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
In July 2020, they were seen having an emotional exchange outside West's ranch.
One insider told the publication that Kardashian and West haven't agreed on their future as a family. The insider added that the reality star is fine with this situation.
Several sources claim that after almost seven years of marriage, Kardashian feels her future is not aligned with that of West, particularly after his controversial tweets and 2020 presidential bid.
Meanwhile, Kanye is apparently no longer attached to his marriage and plans to move on, as well, a source told E! News. That said, the rapper seems eager to make the split official as soon as possible.
West cares little for Kardashian's priorities regarding holding off on a divorce announcement, a second source said, adding that the "Life of Pablo" performer would file if he had to before she is ready.
In the summer of 2020, Us Weekly broke the news that West was working and living mostly in Wyoming, while Kardashian was at home with their children in Los Angeles.
In July 2020, they were seen having an emotional exchange outside West's ranch. This was after the rapper made headlines for his controversial remarks about abortion and their eldest daughter.
