Dee Dee Davis recently took to Instagram to share an adorable photo of her boyfriend and son. The actress also announced that she is expecting her second child, and fans could not be more excited.
"The Bernie Mac Show" star Dee Dee Davis is expanding her family, and fans could not be more excited about how well the actress is doing for herself.
Taking to Instagram, Davis shared a sweet family photo featuring her boyfriend, Smokey Lee Jackson, and their three-year-old son Logan Anthony Lee Jackson.
In the snapshot, Davis donned a black sweatshirt while Logan and Smokey rocked different shades of grey hoodies. Flashing their charming smiles, the trio posed for the camera.
While Davis held up a pregnancy test reading positive, Smokey proudly held up a sonogram. Along with the picture, the actress wrote a caption announcing she is expecting her second child. She wrote:
"SURPRISE!!!!! Hey everyone We're super excited to announce WERE EXPECTING! This is my family ?"
The expectant mom expressed her excitement, writing that they can't wait to meet their family's newest addition. Davis was, however, not the only one excited about the news.
Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers took to the comments section leaving sweet congratulatory notes for the actress and her family. Several other users also noted how fast Davis has grown over the years.
But with the news of her pregnancy came a need for fans to accept that their "Baby Girl" was no longer a baby.
A young Davis was shot into the spotlight after appearing as Bryana "Baby Girl" Thompkins, the youngest Thompkins sibling in the popular sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show."
When the series came to an end in 2006, Davis, who was only ten at the time, took a break from acting to focus on her education. However, by 2017, the actress resurfaced, surprising her fans with shocking news.
The actress and Smokey announced that they were expecting their first child, and this left many viewers of "The Bernie Mac Show" marveling at how fast the years flew by.
By June 2017, Davis took to social media to share heartwarming photos of the newborn. And so, the actress's beautiful journey to motherhood began.
