It is safe to say that Kimora Lee Simmons' grown daughter, Aoki, is beginning to display her coming-of-age fashion sense. Her new media share on Instagram serves as proof as Aoki stunned on her timeline.
The youngster looked gracious rocking an upscale dress while showing off parts of her flawless skin and giving her fans some premium fashion inspiration.
In the one-photo post, Aoki stood with her face away from the camera as she seemed to be taking in the ethereal scenery before her. The young fashion lover was photographed from behind, seemingly unaware of the camera.
Her silky green dress was low cut with tiny straps connecting the bodice. The dress subtly accentuated Aoki's curves while she ran her hands through her mass of tight curls. She captioned the post:
Since announcing on social media that she would be packing up her bags from school and going back home due to the pandemic, Aoki,17, has been showing off her sense of style in the most expressive ways.
Last summer, Aoki had to leave Harvard after the university announced its abrupt close due to COVID-19. Prior to this, the youngster had displayed her happiness when she got admitted into the Ivy League school in 2019.
Last year, the trio launched a beauty line, Shimmer Dreams, which marked Kimora's first foray into skin beauty.
Many fans were overjoyed for her, sharing their well-wishes and praising her academic prowess. Her beauty mogul mom also shared a note that expressed how proud she was of her daughter.
Over the years, Kimora and her oldest kids, Aoki and Ming, have been making moves in the fashion world. Right from the 90s, Kimora established her Baby Phat brand.
Ming and Aoki were right by her side, walking the runway and learning the ropes of the fashion world. Now that they are getting into adulthood, the girls have been proving to their mom that they are worthy business partners.
Last year, the trio launched a beauty line, Shimmer Dreams, which marked Kimora's first foray into skin beauty. The line contained three sections dedicated to Kimora and her daughters.
Aoki's was named Ethereal, carrying various products channeling amber and pear fragrances. Ming's products were tagged Opulence and Kimora's was called Divine.
Presently, the star mom and her girls are actively working towards a fusion in Baby Phat's vintage fashion with contemporary and modern-day styling.
