"Antebellum" star Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe's fiancé Brandon Frankel showed off his buff body in this before-and-after shot amid his bulk-up journey.

Gabby Sidibe's fiancé Brandon Frankel has embarked on a journey to a fitter self and his progress is pretty impressive. The branding guru shared a snapshot of it on Instagram.

Frankel juxtaposed two pictures of himself preparing food in the kitchen. One was a throwback short from his leaner days and the other one showed a buff Frankel showing off his bare torso.

Frankel definitely looks bulkier than before. While he looked amazing, one cannot help but notice his sneaky cats that photobombed his photos both times.

"How it started VS how it's going," he captioned the post. Fans were pretty happy to see him achieve his health goals. They took to the comments section to voice their approval.

"The relationship weight looks good on you. Love you both," one fan said. "Well, since [Gabby Sidibe] has been loving on you, you’ve been looking [good], another fan opined.

Frankel has been making headlines lately, and not just because he is engaged to an Oscar-nominated actress. In December 2020, Sidibe shared a cheeky photo of him to wish him a happy birthday.

In the since-deleted photo, Frankel left little to the imagination and strategically posed on a bed alonsgside metallic balloons that read, "Will you marry me?"

Sidibe and Frankel announced the news in sweet Instagram updates. In her post, the "Precious" star shared how Frankel is her soulmate and takes care of her.

" The second I look a bit stressed and overwhelmed, he jumps into action to take over what he can for me. Every moment with him is a joy."

Before she met Frankel, Sidibe had decided not to care about what men thought of her. As someone who has been bullied all her life for her weight, the actress was determined not to give men that kind of power.

Luckily, she found Frankel who not only loves her for who she is but put a ring on it to prove it. It is funny how it happened right after she decided to be less accommodating to men.
