Former Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez took to Instagram to share a few adorable photos of his daughter as a baby in celebration of her 13th birthday.
Alex Rodriguez's youngest daughter Ella has officially become a teenager. The former professional baseball player posted photos of his daughter as a baby to his Instagram feed in honor of her 13th trip around the sun.
Rodriguez shares his two daughters, Natasha and Ella, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis who he divorced in 2008. The former Yankees slugger is engaged to Jennifer Lopez, who also has an extraordinary bond with his daughters.
THEN AND NOW
Celebrating the start of his youngest daughter's teenage years clearly has Rodriguez thinking back to the good old days. He shared four sweet throwback photos of him with Ella as a youngster with his 3.9 million Instagram followers.
From her days in diapers to a fully-fledged teenager, Rodriguez's post shows Ella growing up next to the baseball field with her dad next to her all the way. He captioned the post:
"How is it that she has gone from adorable baby to beautiful young woman over 13 years ... and I look like I’ve aged 25 years!"
The family photos come in the midst of rumors about the baseball player circulating. He has been frequenting headlines due to the rumor mill catching wind of the stories about him cheating on Lopez with the "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy.
The engaged couple will be spending the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's day, together in Miami.
During the season 7 reunion episode, LeCroy was called out for having a relationship with an ex-MLB baseball player that turned out to be Lopez's fiancé. The reality television star claimed that they had only talked on the phone and had never met.
IGNORING THE CHATTER
The father of two hasn't spoken out against the rumors concerning his rumored affair with LeCroy, but an insider did reveal that the baseball star didn't know her and has never met her.
With the gossip surrounding her relationship featuring online, Lopez has chosen to turn a deaf ear and focus on what's important. A source close to the actress elaborated, saying:
"Everything is fine with Alex. She doesn't let the cheating rumors get to her and chooses not to pay attention."
With his fiancé heading to the Dominican Republic to shoot her new romantic comedy "Shotgun Wedding," which will also be starring Josh Duhamel, Rodriguez will be tending to his own work at home.
The engaged couple will be spending the most romantic day of the year, Valentine's day, together in Miami before Lopez flies overseas for her exciting project. All seems to be well between Lopez and Rodriguez, despite all the stories.
Evidently focusing on his family and work, the former baseball player has chosen to ignore the cheating rumors and zone in on what is important at the moment.
With Lopez leaving the country shortly, their time spent together at home during quarantine will end; hence Rodriguez and his fiancé aren't worrying about the stories and are focusing on each other.
