Magic Johnson and His Wife Cookie Look Classy as They Beam in a New Photo

Former NBA and Los Angeles Lakers star, Magic Johnson, shared the cutest picture of himself and his beautiful wife, Cookie Johnson, on his Instagram page.

Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie Johnson are one of the most adorable couples ever. If anyone needed proof of that, they got it with a recent post the former basketballer shared on his Instagram page on Friday.

Magic shared a photo that showed him and Cookie posing for the camera, smiling widely as they did. In the snapshot, the former NBA star wore a white buttoned shirt and blue pants.

Sitting next to him was his beautiful wife, who wore a silky yellow long-sleeved dress with a bow belt on its waist region. She rocked long black hair and accessorized her look with a cross necklace and silver ring on her right hand.

In the post's caption, Magic said he and Cookie enjoyed joining the incredible hosts on "The Talk" as part of their Valentine's Day special.

Magic and Cookie's friends and fans commented on their adorable picture, sharing their love for them. Simone Smith wished the beautiful couple a happy Valentine's Day.

One fan noted that Magic and Cookie never age, while a second fan described them as a power couple. A third person said the picture is beautiful.

Magic was diagnosed with HIV and credits his wife with helping him get through the diagnosis.

Cookie and Magic celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in September 2020. If not for the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple would surely have celebrated their special day elaborately.

However, the pandemic did not stop them from posting tributes to each other on social media. Magic shared a throwback picture of himself and his wife, captioning it:

"Happy Anniversary to the love of my life and my gift from God, Cookie Johnson! After 42 years of knowing one another and 29 years of marriage..."

Magic expressed gratitude that Cookie stayed with him through the years, loving, supporting, and helping him when he needed it. He ended his sweet caption by saying he loves her more each day.

In 1991, Magic was diagnosed with HIV and credits his wife with helping him get through it because his life would have ended if she left him.

Cookie was also there for her man following his shocking exit as president of basketball operations for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019 and revealed he was happy and with no regrets after stepping down from the role.

Though the couple has been happy and stayed together throughout most of their relationship, they have also experienced their fair share of challenges.

An example of that came when they secretly separated briefly in 2001. Cookie revealed years later that the separation came about because they were growing in two different ways.

However, it only lasted two weeks, with the couple reuniting to work on their marriage. They have remained together since then, still committed to making their marriage always work.
