Paltrow explained how she ended up on a detox program on her Goop website. She shared how she had tests done this January that revealed she had very high inflammation levels in her body.
Seeking assistance, the “Contagion” star reached out to her functional medicine practitioner, Dr. Will Cole, for guidance. She described the doctor as one of the smartest experts she knew in the field.
Cole saw her laboratory results and explained to her that healing was going to take longer than usual. The protocol he put her on is plant and keto-based but quite flexible.
Paltrow shared how she could have fish and other meat products. However, she fasts until 11 a.m. daily, and although she’s used to having cleanses, she confessed to needing to adjust to this one.
The star shared how she was cooking a lot more on this detox and praised it for coming with delicious foods. She revealed that the program didn’t include sugar and shared some of the products she was using.
Paltrow, who was one of the first guests on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in January 2021, proved she didn’t need makeup in a social media post shared in the same month. She posed for an Instagram image makeup-free.
The “Emma” actress appeared sitting with her foot up on a desk while wearing prescription glasses at home. At the time, the star was promoting her brand’s G. Label clothing collection on Instagram.
