Buckingham Palace recently revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided not to return as working members of the royal family. This comes after the couple announced they are expecting their second child together.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have announced that they would not be returning as working members of the British Royal family.

Royal editor Rebecca English confirmed the news in a statement revealing that the couple's disengagement from the Royal family's works means they can't continue with public service duties.

Consequently, Harry and Markle will be stripped of their military appointments and royal patronages, which will, in turn, be redistributed to other working members of the British royal family.

The statement concluded by noting that although everyone in the royal family was saddened by Harry and Markle's decision, they remain loved by family members.

In January 2020, the couple made headlines when they stepped down from official royal duties, left the United Kingdom, and moved to Canada. They later moved to the United States, where they currently reside with their son Archie.

Harry and Markle are set to open up about their decision to leave the United Kingdom.

Ever since their exit from London, Harry and Markle have launched their media ventures and have signed deals with streaming platforms like Netflix and Spotify.

Speaking on their recent decision, a source close to Markle and Harry noted they would continue to support organizations they have represented in previous years.

The announcement comes only a few days after Markle and Harry announced that they are expecting their second child together. The couple welcomed their first son, Archie, in 2019.

In a highly anticipated television interview with Oprah Winfrey next month, Harry and Markle are set to open up about their decision to leave the United Kingdom and how they have lived so far.

Though Harry and Markle's decision will ultimately change their lives, there is no doubt that the couple is prepared for all that lies ahead of them. The world will surely be watching these two!
